I can’t wait for Fall to get here, although living in Texas really doesn’t give us the whole leaves changing and color explosion that other states get, but we do get a brake from 100 degree weather, so that’s a plus.

I’m really looking forward to making soups again. I really love to make a big pot of body warming, window fogging heaven. The fist one that I really want to try is French Onion Soup. Now, I was never a huge onion fan so I would never think of eating a soup that was full of the stuff, but last year Hubby and I went out on one of our seldom dates and I gave it a try. I must say that I was very, very happy to fill my tastebuds with the flavors that onion soup has. It is so rich and the bread and cheese on top is the piéces de résistance!

Tomato Soup

This version of tomato soup looks wonderful and hardy! The combination of tomatoes, chipotle chilies and chicken are making my mouth water.
